Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT)
ITT are a Membership Organisation for Travel and Tourism. They support professionals, suppliers, educators, and students across all sectors of the travel industry.
ITT supports members through every step of their career, from offering guidance and inspiration to students and apprentices entering the industry, to connecting professionals at the most senior level in travel and tourism and lobbying on behalf of their views and rights.
How Northern Training Academy and ITT Collaborate
Meet NTA's Travel Apprentice Ambassador, Chloe
I started my apprenticeship at Northern Training Academy as a Travel Ambassador and my role varies between providing administration support for the training academy and working closely alongside the Institute of Travel and Tourism (ITT) to help people understand the day in the life of a travel apprentice.
ITT is open to everyone who is involved within travel and tourism. I am here to help guide younger people with their career in travel and apprenticeships and help them decide how they want to move forward with their career.
I will be helping ITT with social media including YouTube and I will be carrying out interviews with members of the ITT committee to find out about their career in travel and how they value apprenticeships. Some of them have even completed an apprenticeship themselves and have now progressed into the high-level positions within the travel sector.
My aim is to share my experiences as a travel apprentice and to showcase the benefits of an apprenticeship. With apprenticeships you can learn while you work and have amazing skills and experience at the end of it.
Northern Training Academy can help you do this.
