Louise from Erdington was encouraged by her JCP work coach to sign up with local community association, Witton Lodge for help with various aspects of employment as she suffers from social anxiety.
Louise was supported by an Engagement and Support Worker, Dellano Lewis from Witton Lodge for 4 months to help her overcome the barriers that were preventing her from securing a job.
Witton Lodge approached Northern Training Academy to secure a place on one of our 10 week Traineeship programmes where Louise then had an opportunity to gain employability skills through work preparation training such as CV writing and interview skills as well as a 2 week work placement to gain real life experience.
Louise has worked incredibly hard on her traineeship and has now been offered a place on an web development apprenticeship, starting this month!
